Merry Christmas!
I love Christmas! Christmas movies, the music, lights, trimming and food...it all makes me giddy with joy!
But the best thing about Christmas, is Christmas HOPE.
Christians would tell us that the birth of Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of hope from a promise made to Israel since almost the beginning of time. Others tell us that it is part of human nature to "look forward" to things coming but yet unknown. Whatever it is for you, Christmas Hope paves the way to a future and we have the ability to make it bright.
Regardless of the age of the child inside of us, we all look forward to what we might get or what might happen at Christmas. This does not mean that hope is a childlike feature, quite the contrary. It is developed in us from a tender age and while we keep a positive outlook on life in general, it stays with us.
So what HOPE am I waiting to have fulfilled this Christmas?
That you and I will have a wonderful Christmas and be richly blessed in the New Year.
